Position Type:
Temporary- Anticipated 3 months, with the possibility of a brief extension if needed .
Location:
Gainesville, FL Schedule:
FT, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.
Salary:
$22.00/hrResponsibilities:
- Perform core accounting functions (prepare/review documents, reconcile accounts, prepare schedules, code/enter data, monitor fund balances).
- Enter requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices into the system.
- Maintain or monitor accounting system phases and internal control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Support staff, administrators, and relevant parties.
- Monitor construction project financial activities.
- Assist Construction Contract Administrators with invoice processing, purchase requisitions, data management, communications, and audit research.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working hours:
8:00 AM- 5:00
PM Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Ability to work and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Education:
Bachelors Experience:
1-4 yearsQualifications:
- Bachelor???s degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and apply applicable rules, regulations, and policies.
- Capable of completing work on time, working independently with limited supervision, and utilizing problem-solving techniques.
