Hanwha AeroTechnix is a specialized FAA-certified repair station and teardown facility located in Miami Lakes, Florida. Our facility is dedicated to the disassembly, inspection, repair, and maintenance of aircraft engines while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. Overview The Junior Accountant is responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to the Finance Controllet within a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Operation. This role ensures the accurate processing of financial transactions related to MRO services, inventory, vendors, and customers while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Duties and Responsabilities:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time. Prepare, verify, and post invoices for maintenance, repair, and overhaul services. Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and general ledger balances. Enter vendor invoices, match purchase orders, process payments, and track customer collections. Assist in maintaining financial records, filing systems, and accounting documentation. Record cash and digital daily transactions accurately into general ledgers. Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with collections when necessary. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. File financial records, and answer basic vendor or client inquiries Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations to verify work orders and purchase orders. Assist with inventory cost reconciliation for MRO parts and materials. Generate financial reports and spreadsheets for management review. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations. Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding billing and payments. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience in the aviation, aerospace, or MRO industry is an advantage. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software (such as SAP, Quickbooks or similar softwares). Familiarity with purchase orders, work orders, and inventory accounting is preferred.
Experience Required:
• Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience. • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
