Position Summary JFB Construction Holdings is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of construction accounting experience , strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, and hands-on experience with Sage Intacct and Procore . This position will play a key role in managing project financials, job cost reporting, monthly closings, and supporting operational and executive leadership with accurate financial information. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records for construction projects. Review and reconcile job costs, subcontractor invoices, purchase orders, and change orders. Prepare monthly project cost reports and analyze budget-to-actual variances. Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project billings. Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) schedules and assist with revenue recognition. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes. Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries. Work closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate project financial reporting. Support audits, tax preparation, and financial statement preparation. Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5 years of construction accounting experience . Experience using Sage Intacct accounting software. Familiarity with Procore construction management software. Strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, percentage-of-completion accounting, and WIP reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
