In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of various projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure adherence to financial plans Prepare, review, and analyze project-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions Manage accounts payable and receivable related to projects, including invoice processing and payment tracking Conduct cash flow analysis, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations for assigned projects Support financial reporting by preparing detailed reports, variance analyses, and project cost summaries Assist in the implementation of accounting software systems such as PeopleSoft and other financial tools Collaborate with project managers to forecast costs, track budgets, and analyze financial performance Requirements Extensive experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), double-entry bookkeeping, and technical accounting standards Familiarity with non-profit accounting practices and governmental accounting regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel data analysis functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas Expertise in financial concepts such as accrual accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks including SOX controls and LIHTC guidelines Ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately and communicate findings clearly Experience in securities law or estate law is a plus but not required Demonstrated mentoring skills to support team development and knowledge sharing Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in account reconciliation and journal entry accuracyThis position is integral to maintaining the integrity of our financial operations while supporting ongoing project success.
