Job Description

Position Overview The Accountant III at Restoration of America is to execute tasks in support of the organization's accounting goals. The Accountant III will work closely with the Accounting Manager and the Chief Financial Officer to manage day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. Looking for a motivated professional with the ability to guide daily operations and foster a positive team environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review account reconciliations and supporting schedules. Monitor purchasing transactions, analyze spending trends, and generate reports that provide insight into organizational purchasing activity. Review and approve invoices for accuracy, proper coding, supporting documentation, and compliance with organizational policies. Back up for invoice & receipt processing. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Support audits by gathering documentation and responding to auditor requests. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate special projects and assist with system implementations or process improvements. Collaborate with departments across the organization to resolve accounting issues and support financial reporting needs. Qualifications Understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). A self-starter who can influence others through collaboration, strong communication, and a positive attitude. Demonstrated organizational skills to keep information from various accounts separate. Strong analytical skills to locate and correct errors. Multitasking ability to work on multiple tasks throughout the day. Time management skills to ensure that reports are completed, and payments are received on time. Ability to use accounting software programs such as QuickBooks Online IES. Bachelor's degree or related experience.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
