Accounting Manager ???? St. Petersburg, FL (In-Office) ???? $80,000 - $100,000 + Strong Benefits + 401(k) Our client, a well-established and growing electrical contractor in the St. Petersburg area, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the company's continued growth. Responsibilities Process weekly payroll and payroll taxes Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Prepare monthly project requisitions through Foundation, Textura, PEMS, Procore, and other platforms Process credit card transactions and bank deposits Monitor and reconcile all bank accounts Manage over/under billing adjustments Prepare monthly cash flow reports and financial projections Process monthly sales tax filings Coordinate quarterly and year-end tax reporting Handle W-2 and 1099 processing Manage lien releases and related documentation Track previous owner payments and company obligations Assist with month-end close and financial reporting Support leadership in making informed financial decisions Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within construction, contracting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or a related industry Experience with job costing, progress billing, AIA billing, WIP schedules, or construction accounting preferred Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and tax reporting Experience with Foundation, Procore, Textura, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentBenefits
