This position is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and general administrative duties for all assigned properties. Will prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements for assigned properties and associations within the limits of established policies. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare invoices and check printing for board member approval & signature. Coordinate invoice approvals with Property Managers. Coordinate scheduling and provide assistance with various audits, taxes, annual reports, legal collections, bankruptcy, etc. Post payments from bank lockbox to owner accounts, process all incoming owner payments. Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules. Analyze the Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts for accuracy. Monitor and reconcile bank accounts. Assist both internal and external clients with questions or problems associated with vendors, statements, payments, invoices, checks, reserve transfers, and cash balances. Prepare and post journal entries to the General Ledger. Review periodic reports of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and correction of errors prior to close of accounting period. Organized and excellent multitasking skills with high volume data entry experience required Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive attitude and team player a must! Strong knowledge of both Cash and Accrual accounting. Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Accounting, Finance, or Business from a four-year college or university is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two years of experience required. Property Management industry experienced preferred but not required.
