PTO Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our finance and operations teams. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance Handle AP/AR processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing Prepare and process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Assist with preparation of financial reports and analysis Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Coordinate with outside accountants for audits and tax preparation Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules Support inventory tracking and cost accounting functions if needed
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting Experience with payroll and benefits administration Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, or similar) Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience preferred Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
