Job Description:

We are partnering with a growing commercial construction company in Peachtree Corners, GA to identify an Accounts Receivable Accountant with strong AIA billing and B2B collections experience . This role will play a key part in managing the full AR cycle, supporting project teams, and ensuring accurate, timely billing across multiple projects. • 30/hr Full in Office Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts receivable process for multiple commercial construction projects Prepare and submit AIA billing (G702/G703) in coordination with project managers Review contracts to ensure billing aligns with terms, schedules of values, and lien requirements Track and reconcile project billing, retainage, and change orders Handle B2B collections , including proactive follow-up on outstanding invoices and resolving discrepancies Maintain accurate aging reports and provide updates on AR status to leadership Partner with project managers and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing Assist with month-end close, including AR reconciliations and reporting Support audit requests and documentation related to billing and receivables Qualifications 3+ years of accounts receivable/accounting experience, ideally within commercial construction Hands-on experience with AIA billing required Strong background in B2B collections and managing aging portfolios Familiarity with lien waivers, retainage, and construction contracts preferred Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective communication skills-comfortable working with internal teams and external clients Why This Opportunity Employee-Owned Company (ESOP): Build long-term wealth while contributing to company growth Stable, well-established organization with a strong project pipeline Collaborative, team-oriented culture with strong leadership support Opportunity to take ownership of your role and grow within the accounting team Competitive compensation + benefits package
