• Full-time We are a national washer/dryer leasing company looking for a reliable service technician to respond to customer calls for washer / dryer repair and installation needs, as well as to service machines in need of repair at the warehouse.

Qualified candidates must have extensive knowledge of washer, dryer, and stackable components and installation procedures. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as extensive appliance repair experience. Excellent customer service skills, strong mechanical aptitude, and an exemplary driving record are essential. This position will be a traveling job and will require overnight stays. The candidate we are looking for will support all markets and back up his counter parts across the regions. The job is a predominantly Monday through Friday with occasional weekends.

Job responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair residential washers, dryers, and stackables using hand tools and diagnostic equipment, including analyzing electrical circuits, and testing components. Install and calibrate new appliances, connecting electrical/water lines and ensuring proper functioning. Visit client homes for service calls, explain issues and repairs, and educate on proper usage of machines. Maintain truck stock, manage parts inventory, and keep company vehicles stocked and in good condition. Educate and train installation team on repairs in the field Adhere to safety regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company policies.

Strong technical and mechanical aptitude Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing Customer service and communication skills Time management and organizational skills Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics Proficiency with basic computer applications and diagnostic tools Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must be able to climb a minimum of 3 flights of stairs and be able to move appliances with a manual dolly. Also, must be able to lift, push or pull between 40 lbs.
