Project Accountant Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support a growing portfolio of engineering and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the financial side of projects, partnering with Project Managers, and ensuring accurate billing, reporting, and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring experience in project accounting, contract billing, and financial reporting within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) industry. Why This Role? High visibility role partnering directly with Project Managers and leadership Opportunity to work on complex public-sector and commercial projects Exposure to project financial strategy, forecasting, and operational decision-making Collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth Key Responsibilities for the Project Accountant Manage project setup, budgeting, and financial administration within Deltek Ajera Prepare project financial reports and provide analysis to Project Managers and leadership Support month-end close activities, reconciliation, and revenue recognition Manage project billing, accounts receivable, collections, and payment tracking Ensure compliance with contract terms, FAR regulations, and client-specific requirements Manage billing and reporting for public-sector projects including DOT contracts Review subcontractor invoices and coordinate supporting documentation Qualifications for the
