Senior Accountant- Technical Accounting & Strategic Finance About the Opportunity We are partnering with a growing professional services organization that helps clients navigate complex accounting, financial reporting, and business transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of high-impact projects across multiple industries while collaborating with experienced finance and accounting professionals. Responsibilities Partner with clients on complex accounting, financial reporting, and finance transformation initiatives. Research and apply
U.S. GAAP
guidance to technical accounting matters. Assist with financial statement preparation, SEC reporting, and disclosure requirements. Support mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, integrations, and other strategic transactions. Participate in IPO readiness, process improvement, and finance transformation projects. Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to accounting processes. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to support business decisions. Collaborate with client leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes. Manage multiple client engagements while meeting project deadlines. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of public accounting or relevant industry experience. Big 4 or large public accounting experience preferred. CPA or active pursuit of CPA preferred. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting. Experience with technical accounting, SEC reporting, or transaction-related projects is a plus.
