Job Purpose:

Develop and maintain Job Closing/Costing and Payroll through utilization of Rootstock, Payroll software and other software as necessary. Support the CFO in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance Department.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Required. Knowledge of accounting principles. Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Duties:

Maintain payroll system in ADP. Verify and process reported hours weekly. Enter and maintain deductions, benefits, 401(k), etc. for all employees. Make corrections as necessary in Rootstock time entry. Work with group leaders and supervisors to ensure accuracy of reported hours. Maintain garnishment/deduction employee files. Maintain and report temporary agency employee hours. Report to A/P staff expected invoicing information weekly. Create and enter payroll journal entry weekly. Upload weekly 401(k) deferrals to Vestwell. Assist HR and employees with ADP software, ADP app and time clocks as necessary. Maintain ACA data in payroll system. Reconcile benefits, ensuring employee payroll deductions match insurance enrollments. Review completed manufacturing jobs and ensure all steps are complete and material is issued. Review Work Order Variance and create journal entries to move costs to correct COGS accounts. Maintain Job Summary report including all jobs shipped each month, revenue and costs. Create internal jobs in Rootstock, ensuring their completion and closure. Maintain quarterly IFTA filings. Maintain Heavy Highway Vehicles form 2290. Maintain IRP Cab Cards. Maintain annual vehicle registrations. Perform monthly bank reconciliation. Perform monthly account reconciliations, creating and entering journal entries as needed. Maintain work procedures for job duties. Work on projects for the finance department as assigned by the CFO. Provide back-up assistance for Finance staff as needed.
