Job Responsibilities:
Reconcile and review general ledger accounts and verify their accuracy. Prepare and review journal entries, financial statements, schedules, and accounting reports. Assist with accounting-related issues and transactions requiring additional research and analysis. Research and respond to inquiries from federal and state examiners, as well as internal and external auditors. Evaluate procedures and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflow efficiency. Assume additional responsibilities and projects as delegated by the Accounting Supervisor.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent practical work experience in the accounting field. 1-3 years of accounting experience with knowledge of financial services, electronic accounting systems, and practical accounting processes.
