Property Accountant / Real Estate Accountant, Garden City, Long Island, NY Anna Parson at Robert Half is partnering with a growing real estate organization seeking a Property Accountant / Real Estate Accountant to support the financial operations of a diverse property portfolio. Property Accountant / Real Estate Accountant role offers the opportunity to work closely with accounting leadership while managing day-to-day accounting, reporting, and cash management activities.
As the Property Accountant / Real Estate Accountant, you will: Maintain accounting records and support financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate properties.
Oversee accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and electronic payment administration.
Perform bank reconciliations, cash management functions, and account analysis across multiple banking relationships.
Monitor and reconcile property-related expenses, utilities, assessments, escrow activity, and capital expenditures.
Prepare financial schedules, audit support documentation, and management reports while assisting with special projects and process improvements.
