Essential Duties & Responsibilities To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Classifies, records and summarizes numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers. Ensuring financial records are accurate. Preparing monthly financial statements. Debits, credits and total accounts in computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software. Receives, records and banks cash, checks and vouchers. Codes documents according to company procedures. Reconciles records to bank accounts Answer and direct phone calls Inputs and updates information in databases and spreadsheets Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with company policies Perform other related duties as assigned. Detail oriented with strong analytical skills. Ability to organize and prepare clear, concise and accurate correspondence. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing to others in order to convey information effectively. Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of employees, officers, directors, and service providers. Ability to manage time and be efficient and effective in the completion of multiple assignments simultaneously. Ability to establish productive business relationships with others, both inside and outside the organization. Ability to work with little direct supervision in carrying out the tasks and responsibilities assigned. Ability to be a self-starter and motivated to complete work with a sense of urgency. Evidence of flexibility and problem‐solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person. Ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. Ability to operate standard business equipment such as fax, computer, printer, copier, etc. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or the equivalency 1 years' experience in bookkeeping preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred Other Requirements May be required to attend activities outside the office to stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
