full-time We have an amazing opportunity with our growing client in New Orleans to help build out this unique area of their corporate accounting team. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. Public accounting experience on the audit and write up side is highly valued. Responsibilities Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes Research and analyze expense variances for company management Qualifications 2+ years' of professional accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA or CPA candidate preferred Full cycle accounting in public accounting and/or corporate accounting with strong focus on reconciliations, month end close and financial statement preparation This is a great career opportunity with a hard-working and dynamic team for long term growth with a company committed to the New Orleans area.
