Job Description
Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate and timely financial records. Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances to ensure reporting integrity. Support corporate tax activities, including the preparation of documentation related to tax filings. Assist with sales tax reporting by compiling transaction data and reviewing tax calculations for completeness. Contribute to the preparation of corporate tax return information in coordination with internal stakeholders or external partners. Review accounting records for accuracy and consistency while helping maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Participate in month-end and year-end close processes to support timely financial statement preparation. Experience working in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role. Knowledge of general ledger processes and journal entry preparation. Familiarity with corporate tax concepts and related accounting support activities. Experience assisting with sales tax reporting and compliance tasks. Understanding of corporate tax return preparation support. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage financial data accurately. Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet tools used for financial reporting.
