Multi-Entity Accountant Pay:
$60,000-$75,000/year DOE.
Benefits:

Full-Time, Direct-Hire.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, standard business hours.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to manage accounting and tax functions for multiple affiliated entities. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, working independently, and taking ownership of accurate and timely financial information.
Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping for multiple affiliated entities. Manage Accounts Payable and general ledger activity. Prepare and review monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and management reports. Analyze financial data and investigate unusual balances, trends, and variances. Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, corporations, and partnerships. Prepare federal and state tax projections and quarterly estimated tax calculations. Prepare franchise, personal property, and payroll tax returns. Maintain and improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls. Support audits, compliance requirements, and special accounting projects. Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Minimum of 5 years of accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience required. Expert-level knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll requirements. Must have experience preparing monthly financial statements and performing bank reconciliations. Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting. Experience with tax preparation and accounting for multiple entity types. QuickBooks experience is preferred. Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency is required. Nonprofit accounting experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. Must be organized, dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain professional relationships with staff and clients.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, reconciliations, and data analysis. Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial system workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities, manage multiple entities, and consistently meet deadlines with minimal supervision. High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
