Job Description

Multi-State Senior Accountant We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and perform accounting functions for our operation and work with outside Audit team at year end. Key Responsibilities . Perform Bank Reconciliation, maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements for our multi-state operations.
  • Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for our external auditors.
  • Submit federal, state, and local corporate tax returns prepared by outside accountants and related filings.
  • Assist with audit requests and communicate with auditors and tax authorities as needed.
  • Identify discrepancies, improve accounting processes, and maintain complete financial records. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least five years of professional accounting experience.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements and audit schedules.
  • Experience with corporate tax filings and multi-state accounting or tax compliance prepared by outside accountants.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, account reconciliation, and general-ledger accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Great Plains (GP) accounting software or similar and Microsoft Excel. and CRM
  • CPA license or progress toward certification is preferred but not required.
Position Summary The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing accounting requirements across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires sound professional judgment, accuracy, and the ability to meet competing reports, and deadlines.

$95-$100
