Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Record and review journal entries to keep the general ledger accurate and current.
- Complete monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other key financial records.
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close activities by preparing schedules and resolving outstanding items.
- Examine financial results, research variances, and address discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes when additional coverage is needed.
- Prepare audit support materials and organize documentation required for internal or external review.
- Maintain fixed asset activity, including depreciation tracking and related accounting records.
- Assist with financial and management reporting by compiling data and preparing supporting analysis.
- Follow established accounting policies and internal controls while working with cross-functional teams to support business goals.
