In this collaborative role, you'll partner with stakeholders across clinical, operational, financial, and vendor teams, helping solve complex billing challenges and ensuring the accuracy behind high-quality care delivery. What You'll Own Prepare account reconciliations, record and review journal entries, and perform detailed account analysis to identify variances, ensure accuracy, and support timely month-end close activities. Partner with clinical, operational, revenue cycle, and vendor contacts to resolve billing issues, obtain approvals, and ensure timely payment processing. Review and analyze monthly expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance with established guidelines. Process vendor invoices, validate contract pricing, and investigate discrepancies. Reconcile ancillary claims within EPIC in accordance with revenue cycle protocols. Ensure invoices align with clinical documentation and approved services. Maintain accurate expense tracking, reporting, and audit-ready records. Support audit requests and process improvement initiatives. What We'd Like Bachelor's degree in accounting. Relevant internship experience in accounting. Experience working cross-functionally to resolve issues, gather approvals, and drive processes forward. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners. Understanding of healthcare operations, hospice services, medical billing, or revenue cycle processes preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience navigating accounting/ERP platforms preferred.
