$90k to $115k A growing financial services organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations and support accurate, timely financial reporting. This role reports to the VP Controller and supervises, coaches, and develops accounting staff. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Review journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reports. Manage balance sheet accounts, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, borrowings, and other accounting activities. Prepare and coordinate quarterly NCUA Call Reports. Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, audits, and regulatory examinations. Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes and systems. Ensure compliance with
GAAP, NCUA
requirements, BSA, and internal policies. Partner with other departments on projects and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5-7 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years managing staff. Strong financial analysis and reconciliation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. CPA preferred but not required.
