Ludington, MI Salary Range:

If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Ludington that are seeking skilled Cost Accountants. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Analyze manufacturing variances and provide detailed explanations. Prepare cost of goods sold and inventory valuation reports. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data. Participate in make-or-buy analysis and capital expenditure evaluations. Identify cost reduction opportunities and track their implementation. Reconcile inventory accounts and resolve discrepancies. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for production costs.
