This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costing, and ERP systems while contributing to a company with a strong reputation and long-term stability. This role offers hands-on involvement in daily accounting operations as well as exposure to a major ERP transition from JobBOSS to Epicor, providing valuable experience in process improvement and system implementation. Successful performance in this role may lead to a permanent hire opportunity. What You'll Do Process, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and completeness. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Manage accounts receivable activities, including customer invoicing and payment tracking. Follow up on past-due accounts and assist with collections efforts. Support job closing activities by ensuring costs are captured and reconciled properly. Prepare monthly reconciliations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job costing. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities. Support ERP conversion efforts, including data cleanup and migration to Epicor. Collaborate with production, purchasing, project management, and operations teams to verify costs and gather supporting documentation. Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Assist with reporting and special projects as needed. Qualifications Required 2-4 years of accounting experience. Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Preferred Manufacturing, industrial, or project-based accounting experience. Experience with job costing, job closing, or cost accounting. Experience with JobBOSS or similar job-cost tracking software. Familiarity with Epicor ERP or willingness to learn. Experience resolving invoice discrepancies and managing aging receivables.
