full-time Position Overview Serve as reference person within the company regarding all cost accounting issues. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties to drive EBITDA improvement, cost discipline, inventory accuracy, capital effectiveness, and strong internal controls. Key Accountabilities Cost Accounting 90% Collect, develop, and analyze operational cost data on raw materials, overhead, production time and labor to create net and product margins and lower costs. Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to evaluate costs of raw materials. Work closely with the Lab and Production Managers to optimize Bills of Materials (BOMs), production batch sizes, and machinery utilization for manufacturing. Manage and update standard costs to reflect current raw material price trends, labor costs, and indirect cost allocation rates. Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management. Advising upper management on appropriate cost based financial data. Recommend process and policy changes to reduce cost and maximize profit. File any documentation pertaining to the duties assigned. Inventory audit valuation for monthly closing. Works close with Supply Chain Manager. Manage mid-term cash flow, treasury, financial forecasting, budgets and reporting. Prepare on quarterly basis the 12-month cash flow rolling statement. Lead the monthly plant management P&L closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial General Accounting Support 10% Record and file all supplier invoices, ensuring the proper allocations of costs are also in terms of the economic accrual and localization. Check and enter supplier data in the SAP software program. Prepare payments to suppliers in the SAP software to include proof of GL account numbers Audit, control and properly record travel expenses, credit and debit cards statements in full compliance with the tax laws and with the company rules. Check the proper allocation of costs in the travel expenses, worked hours and customers visited Register any company issues pertaining the management of company cars and leases, utilities, cell phones, maintenance, insurance and assets, ensuring the proper allocation of costs and revenues, to the assigned department within SAP software. Qualifications Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting, finance or similar field 5+ years of cost accounting experience 3+ years of SAP experience Experience in manufacturing industry High proficiency in Excel High confidentiality with sensitive information
