Dallas Metroplex Salary range of $75K to $83K Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Quality Engineer to join its growing manufacturing team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to build a long-term career in quality engineering while working closely with experienced manufacturing, engineering, and quality professionals. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of quality or manufacturing experience , a bachelor's degree in engineering, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry or exposure to automotive quality systems is highly preferred. Responsibilities Support quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations. Investigate product and process quality issues and assist with root cause analysis and problem resolution. Prepare and maintain 8D reports and coordinate problem-solving activities with headquarters and suppliers. Communicate with internal teams, headquarters, suppliers, and other stakeholders regarding quality concerns and corrective actions. Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement. Assist with maintaining quality documentation, procedures, and records. Support internal quality audits, supplier audits, and customer quality requirements. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to resolve quality issues. Support inspection activities, measurement methods, quality standards, and process improvements. Participate in new product launches, process validation, and other quality-related activities. Assist with supplier and manufacturing quality activities as needed. Support continuous improvement and help ensure products and processes meet established quality requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering , or a related engineering discipline. 1-2 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of fundamental quality and problem-solving tools, including: Root Cause Analysis 5 Why Fishbone/Ishikawa Analysis Pareto Analysis Experience using basic quality inspection and measurement equipment , such as calipers, scales, gauges, or similar tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office . Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established quality processes and procedures. Preferred Qualifications Experience in automotive manufacturing or a similar highly regulated manufacturing environment. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or

IATF 16949

quality standards . Exposure to automotive quality core tools such as:

APQP PPAP FMEA MSA

Control Plans Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) . Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Experience working with suppliers on quality issues or corrective actions. Exposure to supplier or customer quality audits.
