Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support our accounting team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in accounting, with hands-on exposure to real client work, month-end processes, and financial reporting. Responsibilities Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and transaction classification Reconcile bank and credit card accounts Assist with month-end close processes Maintain accurate and organized financial records Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Identify and flag discrepancies or unusual transactions Communicate with internal team members to ensure workflow accuracy and timeliness Qualifications Basic understanding of accounting principles Prior administrative/accounting experience Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Applications Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred, but not required) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Willingness to learn and take direction Preferred Degree or certifications in Accounting or related field

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
