Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst Orange County, CA (Onsite) Temp-to-Hire Opportunity W2 Only | No C2C Arrangements We are partnering with a growing and collaborative organization seeking a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst to join the team on a temp-to-hire basis. This position will support month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Month-End Close Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, allocations, prepaid expenses, and payroll-related transactions Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data Support month-end and year-end close activities Analyze financial transactions and investigate variances Maintain and strengthen accounting controls and procedures Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for management Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for key fluctuations Analyze financial results, trends, and operational metrics Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Ensure reporting is compliant with GAAP and company policies Process Improvement & Business Support Collaborate with finance and operational teams on business initiatives Assist with internal and external audit requests Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies Support system enhancements, reporting improvements, and special projects Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to leadership Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis Experience working within ERP systems Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications CPA preferred but not required Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting activities Experience preparing management reporting packages and variance analyses Multi-entity accounting experience is a plus Proven ability to identify process improvements and drive efficiencies Why Consider This Opportunity?
