Job Description

Key Responsibilities Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes, adhering to deadlines Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments Perform account reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts Manage accounts payable and accounts receivables, including entries and reconciliations Monitor, prepare, and reconcile U.S. sales tax obligations—including collecting, validating, and filing state and local sales tax returns—ensuring timely, accurate compliance across applicable jurisdictions Assist in preparing financial statements and internal management reports Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with GAAP Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules Help ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and procedures Participating in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field 2~5 years of accounting or finance experience Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles Experience with U.S. state and local sales tax compliance (e.g., collecting, validating, preparing, and filing returns across multiple jurisdictions) Familiarity with sales tax concepts such as nexus, exemption management, and state‑specific filing requirements is an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred) Experience with ERP or accounting systems preferred (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong organizational and analytical skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment #Pro123

$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
