Brayton Energy is seeking a Staff Accountant responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, reviewing accounts payable, managing accounts receivable, and preparing and recording journal entries. This role will also assist with month-end close, audits, and special projects. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or equivalent experience Proven experience managing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), financial reporting, and account reconciliation Experience with government contracting or financial audits is preferred Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment Strong mathematical, accounting, and analytical skills, with demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to multi-task and work in an organized, detailed manner Process-oriented with strong time management skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with accounting software (ERP experience preferred) Brayton Energy offers a competitive compensation package, which includes a substantial annual staff bonus, industry-leading 401(k) contributions and plan options, a range of medical plans, paid family leave, and more. Salary Range:
