Back Senior Accountant Senior Accountant Swanzey , New Hampshire Perm 80000 Oct 7, 2026 $80000.00 - $85000.00 A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to oversee accounting activities for a division and play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, cost accounting, and inventory management. This is a hands-on opportunity for an accounting professional with strong manufacturing experience who can work cross-functionally and provide meaningful financial analysis to management.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage divisional month-end and year-end close activities. Prepare weekly and monthly journal entries and supporting documentation. Prepare divisional financial statements through the ERP system. Perform P&L and Balance Sheet analysis and explain variances to management. Prepare monthly accruals and Balance Sheet reconciliations. Support standard cost development and analysis for machines and parts. Support cost accounting activities related to inventory and cost of sales. Prepare and review inventory and COGS journal entries. Reconcile the General Ledger to inventory subledgers. Review and establish reserves for excess and obsolete inventory. Report key monthly metrics, including inventory turns, shipments, forecast vs. actual results, order rates, and backlog.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 4+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP systems.

Compensation:
