full-time Senior Accountant - Manufacturing We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing client's accounting team. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with strong inventory experience who wants visibility across operations and clear room for growth into leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement support. Maintain and analyze inventory accounting, including inventory reconciliations, reserves, variance analysis, and support for physical counts and cycle counts. Partner closely with plant operations, supply chain, and production leadership to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost reporting. Assist with cost accounting functions, including standard costing, BOM review, labor and overhead analysis, and manufacturing variance reporting. Support internal controls, audit preparation, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Identify process improvements across inventory, costing, and general ledger workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy. Prepare account reconciliations and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis. Serve as a key resource for ERP and reporting improvements related to inventory and manufacturing accounting. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Hands-on inventory accounting experience is required , including reconciliations, physical inventory support, and inventory variance analysis. Strong understanding of general ledger, month-end close, and manufacturing or cost accounting concepts. Experience working with ERP systems; exposure to SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft D365, or similar platforms is helpful. (
