Job Description

Client Overview:
Our client operates as a non-profit buying cooperative and wholesale distributor for independent appliance and electronics retailers, helping them compete against big-box stores. Based in Hamilton, they provide inventory, warehousing, and marketing support to over 90 retail showrooms across the Northeast. They are currently looking to add an Accountant to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr - $32/hr
Position Overview:
Applicants for the Accountant role must have a strong attention to detail and general accounting skills, with an emphasis on accounts receivable operations. Our client is looking for 3 - 5 years of experience with month-end close, multi-software use, journal entries, accounts payable, and receivable in GL. The ideal candidate should be hardworking and comfortable with meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities of the

Prepare financial analyses and reports. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts. Perform input, maintenance, and review of financial data. Bank reconciliation and journal entries. Required Experience/Skills for the
Accountant:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong Excel skills. ERP systems experience.
Education Requirements:
Associate's degree is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
