- FP&A (Intercompany) Position Overview The Senior Accounting/FP&A Analyst will join a Corporate Finance team responsible for supporting financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across a global organization.
This role will have a strong mix of corporate accounting and FP&A responsibilities , with particular focus on developing and managing a global cost allocation framework for centrally managed functions such as Technology, HR, Legal, and other shared services. The Senior Analyst will partner closely with corporate department leaders, regional finance teams, Tax, and Internal Controls to ensure costs are accurately allocated, properly accounted for, and reflected within financial forecasts and reporting. The position offers significant exposure to global finance operations and the opportunity to help build and improve a key corporate finance process. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, implementation, and ongoing management of a global cost allocation methodology across corporate shared-service departments. Partner with global finance teams to gather and validate allocation drivers such as headcount, system usage, licenses, and other operating metrics. Manage and analyze intercompany and cost allocation schedules, including recurring recharge calculations and periodic true-ups. Perform monthly close activities including journal entries, accruals, reclasses, intercompany entries, and account analysis. Prepare month-end reporting packages and financial analyses covering corporate spend, budget-to-actual results, forecast variances, and key business drivers. Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, including development and maintenance of financial models. Partner with Tax/Transfer Pricing and Internal Controls teams to support appropriate intercompany pricing, compliance, and audit-ready documentation. Provide financial support to corporate department leaders, including expense analysis, invoice and PO tracking, vendor activity, and project cash-flow monitoring. Assist with corporate spend and allocation reporting used in senior management, Board, and external reporting materials. Analyze large financial datasets and identify trends, risks, and opportunities across corporate spending. Identify opportunities to automate allocation processes, streamline reporting, and improve overall finance workflows. Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for senior management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. 3-5 years of relevant accounting, corporate finance, or FP&A experience. Experience with month-end close, journal entries, intercompany accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Demonstrated ability to work with complex financial models, large datasets, cost allocations, or intercompany schedules. Strong Excel and financial modeling skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Comfortable working cross-functionally with corporate departments and finance teams across multiple business units or regions. Preferred Qualifications CPA or public accounting/Big foundation. Experience with cost allocations, shared services, transfer pricing, or international intercompany accounting. Experience within a large, multi-entity, or global organization. Experience with SAP, Hyperion, or similar ERP/financial reporting systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
