Responsibilities Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and month-end closing processes. Prepare detailed financial reports using Excel data analysis techniques such as VLOOKUP functions and advanced formulas. Utilize financial software systems like Workday, QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, ADP, Kronos, Ceridian, and Thompson Reuters platforms for accurate data entry and reporting. Conduct account reconciliations and analyze variances to support financial accuracy. Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial data management. Experience Proven accounting and finance experience with a strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles. Prior experience working in public accounting or within a corporate finance environment is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in using financial software such as QuickBooks, UltraTax, and related Thompson Reuters financial programs Strong proficiency in Excel including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions, and spreadsheet analysis for detailed financial review. Familiarity with accounts receivable management, invoice processing automation, and accounts payable workflows. Knowledge of financial concepts like debits & credits, general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and journal entries. Experience handling confidential information with integrity while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
