Healthcare A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2+ years of accounting experience who is looking to continue developing their career in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Candidates coming directly from public accounting or private industry are encouraged to apply. CPA eligibility or progress toward the CPA is a plus. Responsibilities Assist with the month-end and year-end close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and the general ledger. Prepare supporting schedules and assist with monthly financial reporting. Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cash management activities as needed. Analyze financial data and investigate account variances. Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation for external auditors. Help maintain strong internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements. Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 1-2+ years of accounting experience in public accounting, healthcare, or another industry.CPA, CPA
candidate, or parts of the CPA exam passed is a plus. Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or healthcare accounting systems is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
