Senior Staff AccountantLocation:

Where You'll Come InWe're looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our growing manufacturing and distribution business. This is a hands-on accounting position that requires strong analytical skills, inventory accounting expertise, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is a proactive accounting professional with at least five years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys improving processes, and is comfortable working cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.

We act on insights and validate our approach. How You'll Make an Impact Financial Reporting & Month-End ClosePrepare journal entries and support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.

Perform detailed account reconciliations and analyze financial results for accuracy and completeness.

Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis. Inventory & Manufacturing AccountingSupport inventory accounting, including reconciliations, inventory valuation, and related general ledger activity.

Partner with Operations to ensure accurate inventory reporting and cost accounting processes.

Assist with inventory audits and cycle count reconciliations.

Apply accounting principles within a manufacturing environment to support accurate financial reporting. Reconciliations & General AccountingPrepare bank reconciliations and other balance sheet account reconciliations.

Manage corporate credit card reconciliations and related disbursements.

Process miscellaneous accounts payable transactions and journal entries as needed. Payroll, Tax & CompliancePrepare payroll-related journal entries and supporting schedules.

Manage 401(k) reporting and commission payment schedules.

Prepare beverage tax returns and other required local and state filings.

Support internal and external audit requests by providing documentation and analysis. Process Improvement & Special ProjectsParticipate in accounting process improvement initiatives.

Assist with ERP system enhancements or implementation projects as needed.

Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects. We're Excited About You Because...Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Strong experience with inventory accounting is required.

Manufacturing industry experience is required.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.

Experience with ERP systems is required; ERP implementation experience is a strong plus.

Experience preparing tax filings and supporting month-end close.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Experience with Concur is a plus.
