Position Summary The Senior Staff Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This position is responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations, and providing analytical support to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Analyze financial data and trends to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making. Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors during audits and compliance reviews. Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures. Support integration activities for acquisitions and system implementations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multinational or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of COGNOS or FCRS software a plus as well. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong knowledge of GAAP and Financial reporting. Knowledge of IFRS reporting a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
