Staff Accountant/Auditor A growing, technology-forward public accounting firm in Watertown, NY is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. We provide accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to local governments, school districts, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and individuals throughout Northern New York. We offer a collaborative environment, flexible scheduling, and excellent opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities Assist with audit, accounting, and tax engagements Prepare financial statements, workpapers, and reconciliations Prepare individual, business, and nonprofit tax returns Communicate professionally with clients and team members Work in a collaborative, technology-driven environment Qualifications Associate's Degree in Accounting required (Bachelor's preferred) Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
2+ years of accounting experience Public accounting experience Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns Knowledge of nonprofit or governmental accounting We are willing to train the right individual.
