Why This Opportunity Stands Out (Senior Accountant): Competitive compensation package aligned with market-leading rates Opportunity to work in a growing organization with direct exposure to leadership Involvement in meaningful accounting projects that impact business performance Hybrid work flexibility in a convenient downtown Cleveland location Collaborative team environment with opportunities for continued professional growth and advancement Key Responsibilities (Senior Accountant): Assist in managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentation Evaluate general ledger activity and investigate variances or unusual accounting transactions Generate financial reports, reporting packages, and ad hoc analyses for management Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with GAAP and internal policies Collaborate with departments across the organization to obtain financial data and address accounting-related issues Support day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls Assist with audit requests and prepare supporting schedules for internal and external auditors Qualifications (Senior Accountant): Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a professional environment Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and close processes Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and complex formulas Experience working with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms preferred Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and reliable work Ability to research issues, navigate ambiguity, and contribute to process development and improvement initiatives #LI-DO2 #
