Description The Accounting, Senior Financial Analyst, is responsible for supporting the organization's financial reporting, accounting operations, analysis, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives. This role partners with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, support compliance requirements, and drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls. The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a key contributor to departmental objectives and may lead projects, analyses, and initiatives that support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex financial and accounting analyses, forecasting, and reporting to support business planning, decision-making, and financial performance management. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes through the preparation, review, and analysis of financial data, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages. Analyze financial results, variances, trends, and key business drivers; develop recommendations and communicate insights to management and business partners. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, resolve issues, and support strategic business initiatives. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements while supporting internal and external audit activities. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting methodologies, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Lead or support special projects, system enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and provide guidance on financial reporting and accounting-related matters.
