The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Work on bill approvals across multiple companies in multiple states. Support and execute the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions. Maintain and update accounting records and documentation. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations. Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
