Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
- Partner with the internal bookkeeper and external accounting firm to keep financial information accurate, timely, and well coordinated.
- Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support the monthly close process.
- Oversee receivables activity, including tracking deductions and resolving customer chargebacks.
- Process invoices and payments while helping establish effective workflows within Bill.com or comparable software.
- Handle payroll administration for a small employee population with accuracy and consistency.
- Support sales tax tracking, reporting, and compliance requirements across applicable jurisdictions.
- Assist with setting up and refining accounting procedures and system-related workflows as business needs evolve.
