full-time In this role, the primary responsibilities will be to assist in the preparation and analysis of month-end and year-end closing, prepare journal entries, support quarterly and year-end audits, prepare quarterly analysis, as well as conduct monthly account reconciliations. Beyond the obvious need for strong/proven analytical skills, accounting acumen, and a flair for numbers, the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate an ability to thrive in a casual, dynamic, and fast-paced environment. Candidate must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, ethics, professionalism, and integrity. Although not all inclusive, some additional job responsibilities and skills will include: Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and general ledger entries. Problem Solve and support accounting staff with customers and suppliers. Assist with annual audit and compliance activities. Review and analyze financial transactions and account reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner. Play a role with integration tasks related to acquisitions and mergers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and procedures. Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, with a major in accounting or finance Two or more years of demonstrated accounting experience. Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, as well as various accounting related software Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong motivation, initiative, and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
