Job Description
Staff Accountant A growing international distribution company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its team in Warminster, PA. This is a hands-on accounting opportunity offering broad exposure to the business, direct interaction with senior leadership, and a clear path for long-term advancement within the organization . Responsibilities Support the month-end close , including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting Perform budget-to-actual and variance analysis Support inventory and cost accounting , including inventory valuation, freight, and logistics costs Manage aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Assist with tax compliance and specialized state and local filings Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits Learn and utilize the company's ERP system for daily accounting activities Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies Qualifications Degree in Accounting required 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Plant, manufacturing, or distribution accounting experience preferred Strong month-end close and general ledger experience Experience with ERP/accounting systems
