WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The Sr. Analyst, Accounting & Reporting Financial Systems, will assist the Manager, Accounting & Reporting Financial Systems, ensuring comprehensive completion of all financial systems activities. This position is responsible for complex accounting systems master data, maintenance and control and leading projects that are aligned with achieving
GBS & BU
financial systems and business goals and objectives. Major financial systems and applications include
CT SAP EPR
(FICO modules and related master data), Blackline, and internal/external interfaces. This position plays a key support role in fulfilling requirements specified in customer Master Service Agreements (MSAs) & Statement of Work (SOW) and is an agent of change, leading or supporting projects that drive efficiencies through automation, standardization and streamlining. Financial System Maintenance & Support
  • Identification of solutions to address challenges pertaining to financial accounting, controlling, reporting and maintenance requirements for financial systems and applications
  • Perform the essential financial system functions ensuring consistent performance and control of the CertainTeed financial system modules and all modules integration with General Ledger, including the journal entry workflow solution ("JEase")
  • Perform Blackline System administrative functions
  • Execute controlled transactions and master data procedures supporting internal controls and financial system protocol
  • Organize and facilitate key stakeholder meetings to drive the visualization, articulation, and decomposition of business challenges into actionable solutions
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve system failures affecting monthly financial closings and reporting
  • Execute day to day master data maintenance, process control including proper segregation of duties
  • Lead/support cross-functional teams in the design, development and maintenance of the financial accounting systems
  • Ensure control and integrity of all ancillary systems and interfaces into SAP; support/troubleshoot SAP as needed Controls, Compliance & Customer Service Levels
  • Manage stakeholder expectations with regard to financial system support driving highly efficient financial system performance
  • Review, maintain, and support MSA and SOW commitments of timeliness, cost, quality, consistency, and reliability of information are delivered
  • Recommend training programs targeting specific areas of improvement in financial system transactions or procedures Accounting & Reporting
  • Maintain system process closing schedules
  • Perform accurate and timely closure of all
SAP FICO ERP
solutions including management of scheduled and ad hoc system processed jobs; maintain and execute monthly allocations, recurring entry execution jobs, BDC session oversight, and currency revaluation
  • Execute and support the systematic compilation of monthly and annual financial reporting for SAP and Statutory reporting requirements
  • Maintain hierarchical and account relationships of FICO to guarantee integrity with Magnitude charts of accounts. Perform COA maintenance to align with Saint Gobain changes to the Magnitude COA
  • Support Blackline for all GL account loads monthly for applicable NA Businesses Project Management
  • Support financial system upgrade implementations, acquisition integrations and divestiture carve-outs
  • Support all RPA automation projects ensuring adherence to SG Internal Control standards
  • Provide ad-hoc support and services to internal customers as requested and agreed upon
  • Support the set-up of master data structures for new entities including integration with other SAP modules and external applications.
  • Support and participate in new ERP implementations
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
- BS Business Administration/Accounting and/or Financial Information Systems, Advanced Degree preferred. Professional certification (CPA, CMA, PMP, SAP / S4) a plus
  • Deep experience with integrated ERP and financial reporting systems required. SAP and S4 Hana experience strongly preferred
  • Blackline Expertise in Reconciliation, Transaction Matching, Tasks
  • 5-10 years General Accounting and Financial Systems experience with emphasis on large integrated accounting and reporting system processes required
  • Demonstrated system implementation and entity integration experience with financial data and modules
  • Familiarity with a complex international business preferred
  • Proven results with structured problem solving and continuous improvement, applying Process Excellence/Six Sigma are highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of and practical experience with internal controls.
Solid technical accounting and financial reporting experience, particularly
U.S. GAAP
required Experience with IFRS accounting principles a plus
  • Experience in working with and co-leading outsourced service provider in providing accounting services to internal business customers is a plus.
  • Experience with integrated and external fixed asset solutions required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong knowledge of and demonstrated experience with tax accounting for fixed assets, Sales & Use tax, Federal & State income tax and related tax reporting requirements as it pertains to financial system configurations.
  • Effective cooperation with other Managers and the Finance Shared Services Director
  • Comfort providing virtual leadership, communication virtually with team and customers
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain business relationships outside of functional area
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, consulting, process engineering or solutions management or other related area
