Job Description

The Tustin Group is looking for a qualified Corporate Accountant in Norristown, Pennsylvania. A successful candidate will have a bachelor's or higher degree in accounting, understanding software and current digital technology, and have an interest in growing into an Accounting Manager or Controller role. This is a long-term role for someone looking for growth opportunity. This position is ideal for someone seeking to gain experience in a wide range of corporate accounting tasks, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, journal entries, analysis, and more. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and works closely with the Accounting Team, Management and all TTG divisions. Working from our office in Norristown is required. This role is expected to be approximately 40 hours per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage journal entries, bank reconciliations and account analysis Assist with the month end and year end accounting closing process. Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Utilize a third-party reconciliation tool for reporting to PE Management. Assist with intercompany transactions, expense reimbursement, and payroll. Assist in monitoring expenditures and performing variance analysis. Work performed is in adherence to financial regulations and GAAP. Working with internal and external auditors on requests for information/support and other inquiries. Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business operations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy and internal controls. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of corporate accounting or general ledger experience. Understanding of US GAAP principles. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems or accounting software (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, etc.). Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to travel as needed (approximately 5%).
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Work performed primarily in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift and carry light office supplies up to ten (10) pounds. Visual acuity to read and interpret financial documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens. Hearing ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external contacts.
