Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records with heavy emphasis in property management, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliation, and ledger maintenance using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Skyline or similar software. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions through meticulous balance sheet reconciliation Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining vendor relationships Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Conduct payroll processing, tax filings, and ensure compliance with governmental regulations related to taxation and reporting requirements Assist with budgeting, financial report writing, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making Maintain detailed records of all transactions, journal entries, and account analyses using double-entry bookkeeping principles Requirements Solid knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, debits & credits, journal entries, and bank reconciliation processes Familiarity with governmental accounting practices and tax regulations is highly desirable Strong understanding of financial concepts including budgeting, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation Excellent organizational skills and efficiency under tight deadlines Effective communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating across teams
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
