Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
The Accountant is typically concerned with the day-to-day accounting functions and practices of the company and ensures that such practices are in accordance with GAAP. Typical activities include, but are not limited to: Posting Accounts Payable invoices int the accounting system. Posting expense reports into the accounting system. Disbursing credit card statements, receiving receipts from said statements, and posting the associated journal entry. Bank and Prepaid Reconciliations. Assembling and printing weekly check run. Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles Participating in regulatory reporting, tax planning and compliance Coordinate and participate with the activities of external auditors Support office administrative duties Budgeting and forecasting for multiple government and commercial aerospace companies and associated Q/A analysis 1099Preparation Qualifications:
Must possess at least 3+ years of progressing accounting experience. Experience with Dynamic NAV accounting system a plus. A bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, or equivalent experience will be considered. Experience with Federal Government contracts, job costing and multi-state businesses highly preferred.Benefits Include:
